Embroidery Floss Holder and Other Xmas makes

Hello

Happy New Year.

The elf had been busy in my cottage, she (I)  made Xmas presents and tree decorations.

An embroidery floss folder.





Then got carried away making patchwork tree baubles with redwork embroidery panels.  I love making these.


Had a go at foundation patchworking making these Xmas tree coasters for my Christmas table.

    Gosh the Elf has been busy! I particularly like your embroidery floss holder (it's giving me ideas...) but love the redwork too.

      Thanks Lizzie, it was for Joss, she was delighted with it. The binding was machine sewn onto the inside then turned over to the outside and slip stitched in place which is opposite to how quilt binding are put on as I couldn't slip stitch it on the inside due to the plastic pockets.
